The optical construction consists of eight elements in six groups, two of which are double-sided aspherical elements. Despite its compact size, the lens achieves an astonishingly large aperture of F1.2. The manual focus lens has been specially optimized for the image sensor of the Nikon Z models. This means that the very popular 40mm focal length in the existing Voigtländer range can now finally also be used on Nikon Z models.
The lens is equipped with electronic contacts and enables communication between the lens and the housing.
In addition to the Exif information and the camera’s internal image stabilization (3 axes), the combination with a compatible housing and the latest firmware (* 1) supports three types of focusing functions:
(1) Focusing by changing the color of the focus point frame
(2) Focusing with peaking function and
(3) Focusing with the magnification button.
Main Features:
* Exclusively developed for the Nikon Z mount
* Data communication with the housing via electronic contacts
* Robust and durable all-metal lens barrel
* Manual focus for reliable fine focusing
* 10-blade diaphragm for beautiful bokeh
